Black Butterfly Signature Pieces 2013

These are my signature creations and most are one-of-a-kind, which means only you will own that piece. The technique used here is wire sculpture. They are considered collectible art pieces, therefore, authentication is desirable. Some current signature pieces will have the MTS Signature Black Butterfly (on the front of pendant) applied on it. New creations after August 2013 will have an MTS heart-shaped charm / gold-filled or platinum tag (on the back of pendant) inserted in the process or creating the pieces, even if without the black butterfly in front. Please do not remove these authentications.

My creations are whimsical and colourful, laced with different combination of gemstones, pearls, lampwork/foil glass pendants and finally littered with glittery glass crystals for that extra glitter. I use either nickel-free colour coated wires that are tarnish resistant, or 14K gold-filled, non-tarnish gold wires (will be stated in my store).

My love of fauna and flora is my inspiration. The curvature of the pieces reflect the fluid movements of wind and water, as well as how it flows around our body. The colour tones are combined to bring out the beauty of each piece. These creations are made with you in mind. Petite-size, hard form pendant necklaces. (Note: Please refrain from attempting to bend them.)

Visit my shop to buy or email me with the title of the pieces you would like or questions about them. Discounts could be dispensed, just enquire. New creations will be updated here, so watch this post. Thank you!

GOLD Oriental Cloisonne Inspiration September 2013

For this range, I decided to go for a Chinois feel. I was inspired to incorporate some traditional oriental cloisonne beads. These metal beads are hand-painted with different striking colours and gives off a very strong Oriental look. The good things is these are nickel-free as well for customers who have allergies against metal. These were experimented on eight months ago and their quality and wear-ability is assured. There are no black butterfly insignias applied on them for this series.

Due to customers' requests to have long/short chains, we have developed a new type of clasp, which allows the wearer to adjust the chain to any length they choose. You can simply slide the gold bead clasp up and down the ribbon, to find a good fit for the tops they are wearing. This type of adjustable chains gives the wearer convenience and wear-ability for different occasions. Now, you don't have to worry about not having the "correct" top to go with this.

GOLD Class Colour Inspiration August 2013

Sample images of me wearing the pieces. I love how they go with my differently coloured tops. This range is a bolder use of colours to explore wire sculpture. Expect more ideas like these to surface in time.

GOLD! Glass Crystal Inspiration July 2013
I love the shine from the glass crystals. They are faceted and reflect even more so. They are translucent even if they are coloured, so the colour of the glass crystals will look different on different skin colours. Fairer skin can wear all of the colours here.

    1. Hello to Clockwork925! I am not quite sure where I get the inspiration from as well...haha. I know I began by making these for myself; how I would like it to look on me. The love starts with a small bead. And the ideas flourished from there. Thank you for your kind posting. I will continue to work hard. Have some chinese lacquer that just arrived...letting ideas cook now. Come back some time to check out my new items. :) Take care and have fun reading through my blog!

  2. These are original works of art as I have never seen such handicraft in the jewellery shops I visited. Keep up the good work!
